I'm showing some pictures of the original Pegasus acoustic bass that I made a few years ago. They are going back to the drawing board. Plans include an easier tuning system, 5 string models and an acoustic/electric hybrid mix that will also be Tone Pod compatible. Looking forward to getting going on this, will probably be out late 2025.

It has been my experience in designing things that my first version will be functional and work as it should. Then I look at it again and think, what would make this easier to use, and I build it again. Finally, after it is functioning well, I go over it again and think "How can I make this look better, sleeker, more polished." and then build the third one. If I'm lucky, at this time, I have something ready to sell, many times, it takes more. The moral I've pulled from this is "Good enough is not good enough. Make it better.
