Original models
This page is a brief history of my electric guitar development. I started with the Scorpius, then thought, make it a Semi-hollow body. I briefly had a violin body guitar, Ryan Formato saw it and wanted it modified into something more aggressive. The Scarab was born. I wanted to make a light weight, truly hollow body guitar that would still retain vintage hollow body tone. That eventually morphed into the Perseus. Finally, the Pegasus Hollow Body Electric. It was a merge of my Pegasus feed back proof acoustic with the new Tone Pod electric design. I added in a Graphtech acoustic bridge to make it one of the most comfortable, versatile guitars you will ever find.
Why do I try to innovate on everything?
Major manufacturers have made what were one time innovative guitars for over half a century with no major changes. They are still good guitars, but they came about in the era of rotary phones and party lines (not what you kids think). I went to school for industrial design where the whole concept is to improve upon what is out there. Some times it can be small improvements, other times you might come up with something that is what is referred to as a market disrupter. I haven't done it yet, but it's the goal.

What happens when you innovate on top of innovation on top of innovation? You get this. My original acoustic guitar was the inspiration for the Pegasus acoustic, a patented feed back proof guitar. It worked so well, my customers were telling me that they were running gain on the amp. I said, lets add magnetic pickups to the acoustic bridge. Listing from $3,500 to $4,500
I know a lot of you are going to ask, isn't the same as the regular Scorpius? No, it's not. Through testing and experimenting, light airy woods such as cherry and poplar sound huge, and walnut sounds extremely warm. When I've had players in the shop, the blues and classic rock crowd invariably picks this model.
This is my original electric guitar. Designed and first built in 2003, it immediately attracted attention. Through experimentation, I found that it worked better with denser, harder woods and was preferred by people who liked more sustain from their guitars.
It is always a good feeling when your artistic work inspires other artists. The Scarab is a result of that. I had met Ryan Formato, winner of the Guitarmegeddon contest in the mid 2000's. He traded all his prizes in and commissioned the initial version of the Scorpius, wanting a violin body with a more aggressive look. This is the result. Prices range from $3,500 to $3,900
