pickup fine print

     As a builder, over the past 20 years, I have developed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) relationships with all of the pickups companies listed or their sales representatives. With those relationships come rules. I am only allowed to have one pickup set from each respective manufacturer in a new guitar. Your Tone Pod equipped guitar will come with the following three pickup sets at no extra cost. This essentially gives you 3 guitars for the price of 1. You will get:
Set 1: Seymour Duncan, either Jazz/JB or SH-1/TB59.
Set 2: Lace Sensor Telecaster set, either Standard or Hot
Set 3: Kent Armstrong, either P-90 in humbucker setup or Distortion humbucker set
  If you want to upgrade to one of the pickup sets from another manufacturer, it is definitely possible, price will vary depending upon the pickup chosen. If you would like to have a different set of Seymour Duncan's as the initial pickup also, that is no problem, they will have to be ordered as I generally only stock the primary pickup sets.
     After your purchase, if you want more pickup sets mounted to Tone Pods, you will have to order the pickup directly from the manufacturer or their retail representative and I can then mount them to a Tone Pod. I am working on getting the manufacturers to be able to wire a Tone Pod wiring harness as a special order. Also, if you have a set of pickups already that you would like to use, I can probably mount them to a Tone Pod if they are compatible with the Tone Pod system. I have made an adaptor plate to allow many pickup types to be used. I can mount your pickup with no modifications to the pickup so if it is vintage, it will stay in original unmodified form. Finally, if you are buying pickups, you can buy from any source, my list only includes manufacturers I have an OEM relationship with. Please check first to be sure that the pickup set you like is compatible with the Tone Pod system.
